HP ProCurve

Given customer business requirements, an ASE is able to design, implement and troubleshoot a ProCurve based network solution with the following elements: advanced switching and interior routing for IP networks, core and edge network infrastructure incorporating backbones, VLANs, and network access security.

Specific focus is on:

1.  Designing, implementing and validating ProCurve functionality (e.g. built-in security and management)
2. Ensuring interoperability with multi-vendor equipment
3. Advanced configuration, customization and performance management of data networks. An ASE will act as a ProCurve specialist/escalation point for AIS and APS certified professionals.

By selecting the Network Management elective, the ASE will be able to implement the ProCurve product features and technologies that manage Adaptive EDGE solutions.

Anyone who deploys complex solutions based on HP technologies including: HP Reseller and Service Authorized Partners, Customer IT Staff, HP Field Presales and Competency Center Solution Architects, HPS Field and Call Center Support Engineers
